The levels follow school years, not a marketing ladder. A child in Class 4 and a child in Class 10 need completely different things from a first coding class.

What your child builds, level by level
Every batch is measured by what the child can demonstrate at the end of it. Here is what that looks like at each level.
Class 1 to 5 — first steps, no typing needed
Children drag and drop blocks to make things move, so they learn sequence, loops and cause-and-effect before spelling or typing can get in the way.

Class 6 to 8 — their first real code
The jump from blocks to written code, done gently. By the end your child is typing Python and reading error messages instead of being scared of them.

Class 9 to 12 — projects that count
Real tools and real output. This is the level where a project starts to be worth showing on a college application or a school science exhibition.

What makes this different from an app or a YouTube course
Children do not lack access to coding videos. They lack someone sitting next to them when the code does not work.

Your child sits at a machine at our Old Palasia campus with a trainer next to them. Nobody is left to watch a recording alone and pretend it went in.
Small batches, so nobody hides at the back
Batches are deliberately small. The trainer can tell when a child is stuck and stops there instead of moving on to keep a schedule.

What age can my child start coding at Debugshala?
From Class 1. Children in Class 1 to 5 start with block-based coding, which teaches sequence and logic through games before any typing is involved. Class 6 to 8 moves into written code, and Class 9 to 12 builds websites, mobile apps and an introduction to AI.
Does my child need a computer or any prior experience?
No prior experience is needed and every child works on a machine at our Old Palasia campus during class. A home computer helps for practice but is not required to join.
How large are the batches?
Batches are kept small so each child gets the trainer's attention and finishes the session with something that runs. Ask the counsellor for the current batch size before you enrol.
When are the classes and will they clash with school?
Classes run after school hours and at weekends, and we work around exam weeks. Counselling hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Can we try a class before paying?
Yes. Your child can sit in a free demo class with a running batch, and you are welcome to watch. Nothing is charged before that.
What will my child actually have to show at the end?
Working projects, not notes. Depending on the level that means playable games, animations, a website or a mobile app the child can demonstrate and keep building on.
